EEZYCUT trilobite Replacement Blades

The grade of stainless steel used in the EEZY CUT Trilobite (440a) is known for it’s capacity to hold an extremely sharp edge, whilst having very good corrosive qualities. When the blade loses its edge or starts to corrode, you can put a new blade in, and yet again have the sharpest, cleanest cut in the water.

Washing in fresh water after diving is recommended for all stainless steel knives and blades. Carefully coating any stainless steel blade in normal divers silicone grease prior to salt water usage significantly prolongs the life of the blade, and is recommended for the EEZY CUT Trilobite blades.

EEZYCUT Braided Diving Line

Braided white nylon line has been the traditional line of choice for divers for many decades. It does not float, giving the diver maximum control of the line in the water column. It also has a large amount of tensile strength. Nylon line also has just the right amount of stretch, allowing the line to be pulled quite firmly, and allowing it to retract to it's original shape without losing any of its original tension. This is important to minimize the risk of entanglement.

The diving line offered by EEZY CUT comes in 3 different thicknesses. Each spool of line weighs 1 lb.

Braided Diving Line #24 - $14.99

Average length of twine - 745 feet (227 meters)
This line is usually found on diving reels purchased from the reel manufacturers.

Braided Diving Line #21 - $14.99

Average length of twine - 840 feet (256 meters)
This line is slightly thinner. This line has less strength than #24, but allows the diver to carry more line on the reel should that be beneficial to the purpose of the dive.

This is our thinnest line available. Whilst not as strong as #24 or #21, it allows the diver to get considerably more line on the reel. This is useful for divers exploring new cave, wrecks or surveying large open water areas in remote places, where exiting the dive can mean days before re-entering the water.

Protective Gloves

Whilst the blade is very easy to change, many have requested protective "cut resistant" gloves for when they change the blade. It is much better to be fully protected and safe. This exceptionally true on rocking boats or moving transport. It also helps protect your fingers when coating the blade in silicone grease, which helps prolong the life of all stainless steel, especially for salt water usage. The gloves we use are from Boss Tech, and come in two sizes. The large size will fit a male hand, and the small size will fit a female hand. They are stretch fit so they fit very comfortably on all hands. The gloves fold away very neatly, and can fit discreetly in any tool kit.
